Benny Latino, Owner/President

Graduating from the University of Montevallo in Alabama, Benny has always had a desire to help others. He has been in the healthcare industry for 9 years, and has been in the service industry for 16 years. His desire to help seniors enabled him to put the capital together to go out on his own in 2004, starting Heavenly Caregiver Services, Inc. Continuing service to seniors, he then started Heavenly Care Moving Services, Inc. in 2005. Since then, both businesses have grown substantially due to the quality care he and his team provide to their clients. "It's the best decision I've ever made," states Benny of starting his businesses. "I know I make a difference every day, and I am proud of my team in the field and everything they do." He's also very proud of his marriage of 15 years to wife Alicia, and their children, Cole and Cecilia.

 

Dave Mathes, General Manager

Dave grew up in Seattle, WA. He was an owner operator with Bekins Van Lines before moving to Austin to start a special events company, Premier Party Rental. Premier was sold to a publicly held company after 7 years of ownerships and Dave continued the General Manager position for an additional 4 years. "I can't think of a more honorable business model; helping seniors with their daily struggles. I am proud to be an integral part of the company." Dave lives with his wife of 35 year and 16 year old son, Colton. His favorite downtime activity is drifting on his boat on Lake Travis.

 

 

Gail Moore, Operations Manager

Gail was born in Austin and grew up in Central Texas. Prior to joining the Heavenly team, she specialized for 17 years in administrative support, office management, event planning (corporate meetings, trade shows, golf tournaments). Gail also worked in a law office and managed several non-profit organizations and has a whole lot of experience working with both state and federal agencies.

What Gail really likes about Heavenly Care is the peop... she says "they really are more like friends and family than co-workers."

Her hobbies include softball and bowling and she loves watching movies, football, and listening to music. Gail lives in Round Rock with her husband of 19 years, Mike.

 

Jose Cavazos, Moving Manager

Jose was born in Odessa, Texas, and raised in Austin where he graduated from Lanier High School. Jose has been involved in the moving business for more than five (5) years and even owned his own trucking company prior to coming to Heavenly Care. His skills as a manager were quickly recognized and Jose was promoted to Moving Manager, after only a few short months with us. Jose lives with his wife, Jessica, and their two children, Desiree and Isaiah. When he is not ensuring everything is running smoothly with the moving teams, he enjoys watching UT football with his friends and family.

 

Megan Derr, Moving Coordinator

Megan was born and raised in Florida. In 2006, she earned her Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies and soon thereafter, relocated to Texas. Megan has more than ten years of office administration and customer service experience. In addition to her work at Heavenly Care, she volunteers at a local elementary school, and regularly donates her time to ASPCA and the March of Dimes. In the little spare time she has left, Megan likes to spend time doing kid-friendly activities with her fiancé and two children, Aleela and Andon.

 

Jason Stubbs, Director of Business Development

Jason was born and raised in Houston, but has enjoyed calling Central Texas "home" for the last ten year. He has developed a stellar reputation in the Austin business community, having utilized his knowledge along with a straight forward and easy-going demeanor to build a successful career in the real estate business. It is his passion for helping others, especially seniors, that has led him to his recent position as Director of Business Development for Heavenly Care. In this career he will be able to put his experience helping people solve their problems to good use, and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of his clients. When he is not on the job, you will find him wakeboarding, fishing, hunting or enjoying live music.

 

Tom McMahan, Director

Tom was born and raised in Texas. After high school, he served eight years in the U.S. Coast Guard then attended Baylor University where he met his beautiful wife of 42 years. They have one daughter who is also graduated from Baylor and now teaches and works there. After graduation, Tom went to work in the pharmaceutical Industry and remained there until retirement. Post retirement, he served in various capacities in volunteer and services organizations until 2005 when he joined Heavenly Care. Tom currently serves as Director. His hobbies include building and refinishing furniture.
